Monthly Subscription – Julep Maven Bombshell

So I accidentally forgot to unsubscribe to Julep Maven (or thats what I told Mr Glam anyway) and I have another box to review:)

So here is my October Bombshell Julep Maven box, if you want to read more about what I think to the box, what the subscription entails and how I know I am a bombshell (aside from the obvious bombshell vibes I emit) read my previous review here.

So as I was unknowingly still subscribed to receive this months Julep Maven Bombshell box and I clearly don’t read my emails before deleting them! This was a complete surprise when it turned up. Usually you can go on to the website and view what will be sent out in the months box, if you don’t like it you can opt for a different box, if nothing tickles your fancy you can opt out, or if you see something you think would be perfect for a friend you can send it to your friend!

This month I received the following;

glam housewife reviews julep maven bombshell monthly subscription black latex cleopatra polish

Julep Latex Polish in Cleopatra – A black nail polish, pretty standard, good formula that was easy to apply with a great pigmentation – I applied two coats. It does dry giving a semi matte texture to create a ‘latex’ look but because of how it dries, it shows up every brush stroke and every imperfection in your nail. I do like it, as it is different but I think you definitely can’t put it on in a rush if you want a flawless mani. Its not one of my favourite textured drying polishes.

Julep Valerie – This is a stunning Teal colour with iridescent micro glitter that is perfect for autumn. The picture does not do it justice. Its an understated dark green which when it catches the light sparkles, I know I will be wearing this colour a lot in the upcoming colder months.

Double Sided Kajal Eye Glider -My go to look is winged out eyeliner most days and I usually stick to a gel however recently I’ve been trying to change it up with pencils, so this was a nice surprise. I love that it is double sided with brown and black making it good for day to evening looks. I found that it did glide on and didn’t have much smudging ability which is good for me as I have watery eyes and like my eyeliner to be defined and remain in one place! I also love the fact it comes with a pencil sharpener, its always handy to have an extra one and for those that don’t have one nice to have everything you need in one order.
